Postcode-aware setup for landlords in Manchester
Enter a Manchester postcode and Kept resolves the council and map location. Any licensing guidance shown is a maintained prompt, not an exhaustive or authoritative result. EPC and Companies House lookups are not currently part of the live product; you confirm and file those records yourself.
When you add a property, Kept resolves its council and map location from the postcode. It then builds the core obligation checklist from the property and tenancy details you confirm; certificate dates and licence details remain yours to enter or file.
How it works, step by step
Council, resolved
The postcode is matched to the correct local authority so the property record carries the right council context.
Map location, added
Kept geocodes the postcode so the property appears correctly in your portfolio map.
Checklist, generated
Gas, HMO and tenancy answers determine which core obligations appear, with missing dates clearly flagged for completion.
Straight answers.
Does Kept fetch my EPC automatically?
Not currently. Upload or email the EPC and confirm its dates when filing it.
Does Kept import Companies House deadlines?
Not currently. Company-number import and company filing deadlines are not part of the live product.
Does this cost extra?
No - postcode-aware property setup is available on every plan.
