Estimated First quarter 2027
Planned scope, not currently available. The estimate may change as the feature is tested.
Planned: records that can show they were not rewritten later.
Current audit packs are organised PDF exports of the live file. This planned layer will append important events to a chained history and seal generated packs with a verification code, without pretending that technology alone makes evidence legally conclusive.
How it works, step by step
Append important events
Uploads, sends, replies and status changes will be recorded with actor and time in an append-only history.
Seal the generated pack
A digest will bind the exported content to the event history that existed when the PDF was created.
Verify without an account
A recipient will be able to enter the pack code and confirm that the sealed digest still matches.
Straight answers.
Are current packs tamper-evident?
No. Current PDFs are point-in-time exports and are not advertised as cryptographically verified.
Will this make evidence legally binding?
No. It can support authenticity and chronology, but admissibility and weight remain decisions for the relevant authority.
Will manager actions be named?
That is the plan. Authenticated manager access is a prerequisite for reliable actor attribution.
